I think the solution to the donate problem would be to have special in game items for different levels of donations.

I have a good job, but because of that I lack the time to play EQ like a hardcore gamer. I think if I donated a certain amount I could have a character at max level.
Also, if people want to be like "platinum donators" of say 200 $ or more they could get special non lootable fabled items.

Let me know what you think. I'm sure I'm not alone here.

I remember Gronkus giving me an 8 second barbarian illusion kilt, and people cried OP. But yea, there should be no benefits for donating, kinda defeats the purpose of donating for the sake of the box.


and this is coming from someone who donated a decent amount of money.

Almost every EQ emu offers items for donations.

Also, almost every EQ emu is terrible.
