I have a question regarding the Cleric Test of Protection in Sky. The Pauldrons of Piety, according to the in-game quest text and Sky quest guides all say the components are:
1. Adumbrate Globe (from isle 3)
2. "Glowing Diamond" (from isle 7, as titled comes from Sister of the Spire)
3. Shiny Pauldrons (from isle 5, Spiroc Lord)
This set of items, namely the "Glowing Diamond", goes against every other quest in Sky where you get a set of quest pieces in progression from island to island. 1-2-3 or 3-4-5. This quest calls for 3-7-5, which does not make sense. Additionally, "Glowing Diamond" is no-trade and is the final piece for the bard Test of Brass which has a progression of 5-6-7.
"Faintly Glowing Diamond" however drops from isle 4 and would fit right in with the progression of quest pieces. "Faintly Glowing Diamond" further identifies as "Glowing Diamond" and is not no-trade which would be in line with all of the other non-efreeti weapon tests, 2 tradable pieces and a no-trade piece from the final island in the test progression.
Earlier this morning I went through the quest dialog with Alan Harten:
[Sat Apr 23 11:01:29 2011] You say, 'i want to take the test of protection'
[Sat Apr 23 11:01:29 2011] Alan Harten says, 'So, you must be a great protector to have ventured this far. Bring for me an Adumbrate Globe, a Glowing Diamond, and some Shiny Pauldrons for your reward.'
[Sat Apr 23 11:01:46 2011] Targeted (NPC): Alan Harten
[Sat Apr 23 11:01:46 2011] Right click on the NPC to consider him.

[Sat Apr 23 11:02:18 2011] Taking a screenshot...
[Sat Apr 23 11:02:28 2011] Taking a screenshot...
[Sat Apr 23 11:02:31 2011] Alan Harten says, 'What am I supposed to do with these?'
I went ahead and clicked trade, and Alan spit the items back at me. As of right now, he does not want "Faintly Glowing Diamond" even though it IDs as "Glowing Diamond" and would fit right in with the progression of the quest pieces.
Just wanted to see if there was any input on this.
Thanks for making P99 like the good old days.
