Can't set up SMS verification?

So I went to add SMS verification to my account, and put in my mobile number, but got an error. I went back and double checked, but the number was absolutely, 100% correct, so just to be safe I reset the field and put it in again and tried again.

It didn't even let me attempt a second try though, it immediately said that my number has been blacklisted for 'previous verification failures' -- ALL ONE OF THEM.

WTF? Can I get some help with this please? It's not like I have extra mobile phone numbers laying around, this is the only one I've got! D:

Same here. I entered in my phone number (zero chance of an error, plus I confirmed it before entering it). Instantly got a message claiming "error with verification". My phone was next to me, and never even chirped.

Added the same phone number (without the dashes this time), and am told the number is "blacklisted" because of invalid attempts (just one!).

I only have the one cell number. The number I entered was valid. I really hate to dedicate so much time to this game if there is no way to verify my account due to a broken verification system.

I'm trying to reset my password via SMS, and the page that loads is just blank. I never get a text.

This exact same thing just happened for me. Put in my phone number to verify, it gave an error message that it failed, I tried a second time, and "This number has been blacklisted for previous verification failures."

Any chance I could get some help with this please?

I just tried to set up SMS and got the same issue. It said there was a problem...then blacklisted (after one attempt). I definitely entered in the correct cell #.

Now I am unable to set up SMS.
