Is the only way for me to get pink plate armor on a bard by going Human and worshiping Erollsi Marr?

I really want to be a wood elf, but I want pink armor. I think i can also worship this diety but not sure I can wear as a wood elf. Confused on crafting :)

According to the wikki, the only crafted for wood elves is studded and reinforced armor?

Player made fine plate can be dyed. It’s basically slightly better bronze that doesn’t weigh as much.

The Red Dragonscale Armor is also a somewhat pink/light red hue.

Edit: This stuff? Might not have the exact same tint on all races but it’s wearable by all bard races (and they can all pick that diety).

If you check http://wiki.project1999.com/FashionQuest_Guide you can see all of the various armor "tint" (color) options.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot:

http://wiki.project1999.com/Category:Fashion:_Hot_Pink (Druid ony)

http://wiki.project1999.com/Category:Fashion:_Violet_Eggplant (Necro/SK only)

... and then a bunch of red ones. So unfortunately, I think the dyed Fine Plate ... when it exists someday ... will be your best bet for a true "pink-ish" color:

The fashion section of wiki is far from complete and I believe mith Marr cultural plate is pink... and before you say anyone can update it - I don’t wanna

The fashion section of wiki is far from complete and I believe mith Marr cultural plate is pink... and before you say anyone can update it - I don’t wanna

The fashion screenshots are absolutely, 100%:

far from complete

But the fashion categories, which specify the overall appearance and tint, are roughly 99.9% complete/accurate (and I mean that number: it's not just short-hand for "I'm very confident").

They're actually 100% accurate as far as Allakhazam Lucy database is concerned, and I know that for a fact because I wrote the code to go through every item in the wiki, find that data in Lucy, and add it (in the form of categories).

However, even Lucy didn't have perfect data. For instance, I discovered after fact that Lucy lists the appearance of all custom helms as "leather'. I think maybe they actually are "leather" in the database, but had separate special appearances? But that's just a guess.

The point is, I had to fix those by hand, and I'll admit it's possible there are other items like that as well, which Lucy got wrong. But other than that, the fashion information is totally and completely accurate ... we just need more people to submit more images.

Example. Rallos Zek cultural is red armor I don’t see it listed under anything, maybe the human culturals are missing?

Heh, I just started writing a long post adding to what I just said ... and then refreshed and saw that your reply cut to the heart of the matter.

While everything I said was true ... for items that are in the wiki database ... there are a very few items that aren't. Most are stuff no one cares about (eg. Skeletal Toe), but one important omission is the crafted armor sets.

For instance, there are a LOT of Fine Plate armor pieces, but the wiki only has the undyed ones. It should have a small/medium/large set, for every armor slot, for every dye ... but no one has felt like adding them.

So it is possible that not just fashion info, but in fact any info, is missing from the wiki, but only for (some) crafted items.

P.S. And on that note, while Wallicker was completely and totally wrong about:

mith Marr cultural plate is pink

... because Mith Marr armor is orange ;) http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=23411 ... he was actually super close to being completely and totally correct.

Mith Marr's brother did in fact have an arguably pink-ish (or at least pale red) tint:

http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=23399

But again, these items are currently missing entirely from the wiki, so the fashion info (along with everything else) is missing, and will remain so until someone feels like using Ravhin's tool (http://wiki.project1999.com/utils/wikiUtils.php) to add them.

Do you mean off of p99 or from original live era?

PS, If off of p99, I have a cleric who is wearing Mith Marr, it is a "shade" of pink. Thus, going to get it for my bard. I think it will look the same shade, or at least I hope. Will let you know!

AFAIK I know very, very few items had their fashion appearance changed later on (post-classic).

However, I think a very few items did change, and when it comes to live I stopped playing at LDoN, so I really know nothing about what happened after. Maybe that armor was orange in classic (as per Lucy), and at some point became pink on live?

Or maybe that orangish tint, when overlaid on top of that particular armor look, winds up being pink? Seeing the tint color in isolation doesn't perfectly convey what color the armor will actually be, so that could be it too.
