Enchanter Quests - Temple of Sol Ro

When hailing Sultin in the Temple of Sol Ro for the Enchanter Quests, he will not give the quests at all. I have raised my faction to kindly with every other NPC there but Sultin and the Undead Knights there I think. Sultin just stays at indifferent with no faction change causing him to tell you he cannot trust you with the quests. Next to him Romar Sunto appears to be on the correct faction for the Coin of Tash quest, he cons kindly.

Just a side note as well, these quests were working between when Sol Ro was released and the patch that followed. After the patch he would not give the quests.

I've been waiting for a post like this to show up! I'm in the same boat. I spent more than 6 hours yesterday fighting shadowed men in the hopes of being able to turn in the materials for the mask (and the gloves, once Tarn is fixed) with no luck.

That's kinda weird, because I was able to do the incandescent mask-quest with Sultin on indiff, and he was also willing to divulge the quests when hailed. I did the quest on... sunday I think? I think I killed 4 or 5 shadowed men all in all for the mask.

hailed sultin at indiff and he talks to you but when you tell him u are interested. he says you have to prove your faction. wonder how many shadowman or any easy way to raise this faction.

also is tarn in highkeep fixed????

Bump, I haven't even started my mask or tash quest yet. Won't bother working on this till I know it's fixed.

killed shadowed men for ...5? hours with zahlia, all other mobs in solro went to warmly etc. he stayed indiff and still refuses her items ...

Also, the hand-in process in HHK is broken, the NPC just eats your items and does not reply to hails. I forgot it's name but its the same npc that sells the enchanter pet spells in the library.

I have 2 enchanters in my guild that already did the tash quest...

Was it working at one point and now broken? or vice versa?

I was able to charm sultin to do his quests. Not too sure about Tarn though with everyone reporting he eats the items.

It appears as though this is working fine on the test server (all three of his turn-ins). Please watch the patch notes for updates of when he is fixed in the next patch.

Moving to resolved. Item reimbursement needs to be placed in the Petition/Exploit section.

That's Tarn, but what about Sultin? He doesn't give the quests at indifferent con, and killing shadowed men for 6+ hours does nothing to raise your faction with him.

Mmmmph have ya clicked on the faction link on Alla? there are quests u can do to raise faction. Like Bloodstones to Tarn Visilin in HHK, I see Dervs fixed him last patch :)

As of today's patch, Sultin is on beta-neutral faction. Given that he is, of course, in the Temple, and that Alla lists him as being on Temple of Sol Ro faction, I have wasted many an hour on shadowed men. :(

Quest works as of now, i just finished the Rod of Insideous Glamour and Incandscent gloves.

Ingenious enchanters have other ways of making mobs/NPC's amiable. Trust me i was a bit apprehensive when i figured it out. But im now the proud owner of a new clicky rod and gloves.

He is now on Temple of Solusek Ro faction. There are several turnins you can do to remedy this.
