Right now when a charm breaks or a pet dies all of its agro gets transferred to the owner.

Everyone's 60 now and the encounter that this was implemented to make non-trivial is killable in the proper manner. This change wasn't classic and was only the fix for people killing content in a manner that you didn't like before they should have been able to. Now it's just an annoyance that shouldn't be here.

Well. I think it was a misunderstanding as to what should be happening when charm breaks.

When charm breaks, you should have the same aggro on the enemy mob as a mage who just reclaimed or had a pet die, however, the ex-pet should hate you a bit more than it does.
Currently, charm will break and you will gain minimal, initial aggro on your ex-pet and a single melee hit is enough to aggro it off of you.

Charm breaking should generate about a resisted mez worth of hate.

This wasn't really about charm - it just affects that too. This is about pets in general and how their agro transfers.

Though I do agree with you, when charm breaks you should have a fair amount more agro from only the mob that you had charmed. The mob your charm pet was hitting should gain 0 additional agro towards you on that break.

This isn't classic like hit boxes aren't classic. But both are attempts to deter certain killing/exping methods.

Not so much. When things can be fixed to work properly, they will. It's not like we changed hitboxes.

Any love here Nilbog? I ask because with more frequent charm breaks it gets very irritating to be summoned by every boss mob or illis knight in Sebilis every few minutes. I imagine everyone else gets tired of the 'you will not evade me, enchanter x' messages as well.
