dsetup.dll 3585375160 error [Archive]

Hello,
I installed EQ Titanium then downloaded the 50g, unzipped into my EQ-Tit directory as instructed. When I launch EQ from the folder ( launch titanium ) I am able to login in but then I get a splash screen that says, " One or more of your Everquest Files are not the correct Titanium Version for Project1999.

Files missing or corrupt dsetup.dll 3585375160 even though I have the files in my directory and I have no AV.

Win10 Pro setup

I am getting the exact same error. I attempted to connect to the Green Beta server, which directed me to the website to get the V50d files (with some very creative character names), I got those files, unzipped them into the root EQ Titanium directory (I hope this was not my mistake), and then I got the exact same error as the OP. Trying to figure out how to fix it.

Since I'm too dumb to figure out how to edit my previous post, I'll write a new one, lol. Apparently my issue was that I downloaded the V50d file pack, which I guess is for Blue? A bit further down the main page, there's a link for 50h file pack. I downloaded that, extracted those, and was able to make a character and log in! \o/

Where are you seeing the 50h pack? I only see the 50d link.

Any other fixes to this problem. I am having the same issue. The game ran fine for the first couple of days, then now I am getting this error when trying to log into the Green server. I can log into the other servers just fine. Its just the Green server returning this error. Any help is appreciated.

Same problem I am experiencing. I can log onto any of the other servers just fine. For some reason I can not log onto the Green server. It worked for the first couple of days after installation,but now Green just returns the error.

Same error here when trying to log into green today. All other servers work fine. Anyone gets a solution please post in here for all of us.

I dont get a patch. I just launch the EQ titanium exe and it loads the different servers and I select Green Beta to login. But it gives me the error in my previous post.

I dont understand what patch? I click on UQ Titanium andaucnh the game. Then it loads, shows the Blue, Green Server and a few others.

same prob, worked for a couple of days then one day getting dsetup.dll error in first post

I've excluding in antivirus and even tried uninstalling and still same, reinstalled game and patched twice

any solutions ?

Bump or something. i'm having the same issue. i can get in to blue just fine and play a toon. but when i try Green i get this exact error and i dont understand how. the alt patch download that got suggested... honestly no clue how to get a patch other than V50d.

anyone got a solution?

In case others have this same error on the BLUE server, look at the main page and download and install the "Project 1999 Patch Files (V52)" mentioned in the "Welcome" post at the very top of the page.

Look at the front page. Rogean just put up a new patch. You're going to have to do some research and some looking around for yourself, I don't mind helping, but I can only help so much.

On the homepage for the project (https://www.project1999.com/) up above the posts (don't get distracted by the massive Green trailer image like I did at first) there is a "Welcome" message. The very last bit of that message has a link to "latest patch files." Click on that, then drag-drop the contents of the zip into your root EQ directory, replacing files in the destination.

YES because the green files not longer work! So the very top link. Got it. I was so excited extracted the files and it still no longer works for me. It might others tho.

ok so it now works for me.........

What i did differently was I extracted the files directly into the EVERquest folder inside the SONY folder. This worked for me.

Remember this people. This is a common issue. Best course of action is to download the file, open it, copy the contents, go into your EverQuest folder and paste.

try extracting it into your EQ folder not your SONY folder

I have not gotten sorted. I updated bu copying everything over. anitvirus has been off, I have reintegrated dsetup.dll twice and I get the same message. using the v52 patch files

Adding here, same issue with the wrong file. I downloaded the 50h patch while it was available and unziped it to the correct folder. Added folder to Anti-virus white list. Still had the same error. Even tried turning off anti-virus and still had the same error.

Okay okay okay, I got it. Don't use the Beta files AT ALL anymore (duh) the Blue Green and Red servers all use the main patch files from now on. SO if you are still having this issue, download and patch the latest file (v52 as of this post) to your EQ folder. You should then be able to play on Green, Blue or Red. Good luck everyone.
