Was making patchwork armor. Failures gave correct message (you lack the skills blah blah blah.) Success did give the item being made, but gave error message (String not found: error 8053) or something similar instead of the message "you have fashioned something new". Got the item, and got a few skill ups, looks like just the message is messed up.

Are you using patch files 50f ? Located here (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336372).

eqstr_us.txt should correct this issue.

That must have been it. I thought it was after 50f, but it was working perfectly today so it must have been just before I did the 50f patch. Thanks for looking, sorry if it wasted your time.

Hey nilbog,
When an item craft fails, but 1 of the components is returned, I get both messages "You have fashioned the item together to create something new" and (whatever the fail message is) . Is this classic?
One example: Heady Kiola (returns "Bottle" on failure).
