Can log into Green, but not Red/Blue. Error message

Just updated files to 50f.

I can log into Green beta just fine, but I get to character select on Red/Blue and an error message pops up.

"One or more of your Everquest Files are not in the correct Titanium version for Project 1999. You will not be able to play until the files in red are replaced with the correct versions.

Tried deleting the file and then re-patching. no luck.

anyone else run into this and have a fix?

Having the same issue. It seems patch messed up the spell_us file for blue.

Did you try to re-install EQ yet? Was hoping I didnt have to do/try that.

I had the same issue. I went back to the previous patch files that I had saved on my computer and grabbed just that spells file from there and copied it back into my folder. I was able to log into Blue, but don't know if there might be any problems from doing that. I didn't play or anything, just logged in. And it's possible by doing that I may not be able to login to Green Beta anymore.

Nope. I think they'll have to correct that issue. I guess the spell file content of green don't point to current spells of blue visa versa.

Seems the 50e patch is no longer available? The f gives me that same error when I try to log in. Someone warned me that my characters will be deleted this Friday. :(:(:(

Installed this latest patch.

Can log into red/blue just fine!

But now green is giving me an error message.

I'm getting the same thing. I was fine on green and made a character, went LD and had to close EQ completely. Loaded back up and get that error message, even after re-patching several time. I want to test green darn it!

Seems you will need the previous patch for blue/red and the new patch for green.

I get this exact same issue.

Update my files for green and try to log into blue and it says there is an issue with spells_us.txt
I go update my files using the standard blue update files and I can log in fine.

Then with these updated blue files I go back into green and I get a DLL issue.

The spell files are different for green and blue. You need to either change them every time you log between the servers, or create another folder of the titanium install and point your shortcuts to the different folders.

I have tried using the spell file from 49, 50, 50d, and 50 g all won't let me play green i keep getting error "spells_us.txt (3282757606)

Normally means your Anti-Virus quarantine the file. Tell your anti virus to stop doing that and reinstall the patch/file.

Rogean has discussed this somewhere before. The way that file is modified for P99 is causing some AV programs to flag it as a virus and quarantee it. Add that file as an exception.
