Spell file out of date?

Hey i cant login to my character, spell files out of date go to the getting started page. i go to the getting started post and the link

doesnt work, i had already previously dowloaded everything before.maybe im an idiot, wheres the latest spell files ?

Getting the same problem and then an error message when i click on the files link to download the spells under "getting started"

Hmmm.... I have tried clicking the link about 20 times and I keep getting the same NOT FOUND message. How do we contact a GM or server GM at this point?

There are two issues here. Some people are having problems with the link. Thats not my issue. V8 changes have been updated and copied. The game still says I am outdated.

Look in my signature.. use installer.. pick option (13) it will update all the spellfiles for you in a click :) enjoy

Not working for me either. I deleted my EQ folder, re-installed, reinstalled Duxa's, ran that but now I'm not getting a fixed icon on my desktop.

Downloaded version 8 and replaced the old files is not giving me access I figure server is still down at this time and will try again later. If anyone hears anything give me a heads up please. UPDATE ok nm got it fixed just re downloaded it again and it worked

I removed the fixed icon out of option (1) because not everyone needs it, and for some people (that didnt need it) it would cause other issues. But it still exists as a standalone option, so just run the installer again and pick option (5), that will put the icon on your desktop :)

server is up, you must have updated incorrectly. So look in my signature and use the installer. pick option (13) it will update it for you properly.

Just change the URL from v7 to v8, he just forgot to update the link.

just use the eqemulauncher (http://moestaverne.com/eqemulauncher122.zip) and your spell files will always automaticly be up to date ... no dowloading, no checking forums if a update is available before logging in ... just launch, pick the server, click play, if patches are available it will patch before it launches EQ .. done ...

All you guys have to do is download the zip file from the project 1999 home page or the getting started page (the EQ changes v9). Then just extract is to your everquest folder/overwrite any conflicts and congratulations you win.

The version was not updated to today's spellfiles yet. I just updated it. Should be all good now to use option (13) in the latest installer version (v0.7).

yes, its 18 megabytes. And is mainly for people to use to set up a fresh install of Titanium, since a lot have issues doing that. Also for installing some excluvice patches and UI's written by me that arent available anywhere else. Updating spellfile is just a bonus feature.

I'd recommend anyone and everyone to use that installer. The download takes a negligible amount of time, and an idiot could handle it. Love that updated UI as well.
