Wow, must be some big fixes... still down, I'm going into deprival shock here. I NEED my EQ fix for the day. Wait, I play Everyday... Oh well, I'll make it to Kurns Tower yet. This down time has given me time to read maps, and figure out my route from Oasis. Sure hope I don't die along the way. LOL BRIK!!! come save me.

You might need saving! As a druid you'll be better off going from the docks in Butcher to Firiona Vie :p

Thanks for the update that probably explains rogean's server popping up now and then as well. We are in "debug" land and sometimes those bugs are pretty hairy. Ah well patience skill will have to be raised - that one is as bad as the first point in sense heading!

Still getting the spells not updated message and still can't download the spells from the getting started page, yet 400+ people are online. Is this a matter of my patience or is something wrong on this end?

I cannot either. I had same problem updating on changes V7. Resorted to using Duxa's installer program. But its not updated for this update. I have placed the new files in their appropriate folders overwriting old one in the process, but I still get the error on the character select screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Since the plee's for help stopped I assume you guys got it figured out. I had the same problem with V7, couldn't open the d/l file. said it was corrupted no matter how many times i d/l'd it. had to have a guildmate email me the files.

Sometimes, randomly, I will try to log in and i will get the spells need updated message at char select. trying a 2nd time usually gets me through.
