I recently went through and installed all the Visual Enhancements the P99 wiki had to offer. Everything looks great!

I got to thinking...does anyone have a link EQ shaders? I love the idea of pimping out that good old classic look with some nice lighting / bloom / color boost etc.

I did some research and found a forum post with what seems to be what i'm talking about, but it looks like the link is dead. Anyone know if this was re-uploaded or have something similar ?

Cheers!

Bet solution is to use the program called ReShade.

Another player and myself tried really hard to get ENBinjector working nicely with P99 but it had so many draw backs.

The fake HDR in ReShade works pretty good, and there are plenty of other shaders you can play with.

Nope, ReShade comes with a bunch of default shaders already bundled but you can go to their forums and download more custom ones that people have made. Most will not work because EQ lacks the structure newer games have to implement graphical addon even things as universal as shaders.

yup I use reshade and its pretty good. The effects I use are Vibrance, colorfulness and adaptivesharpen. Makes everything look more colorful and less pea-soupy.

I suggest turning off Advanced lighting in the options. It gets rid of all the blinding lighting effects from some light sources (makes snowy zones more bearable).

FYI the ability to turn off Advanced Lighting is being permanently disabled on p99 in the near future.

Thanks Klamps. Quite interesting, some textures (such as the brick wall) definitely pop out more. Are there any issues with using it? Also, is it permitted?
