Cleric choices and stat allocations on green?

I'm going Human with all stat points in charisma. High Elf is slightly higher charisma, but they are ugly as sin (fashionquest over everything), with no strength. I have plans for one of these, because I'd like to see about my chances of getting a guise...otherwise, DE for life.

Anyone else? Would love to hear your thoughts and/or arguments. Wisdom items will be tougher to come by, so max wis will be a racial thing with +wis stat allocation on creation, but it'll ease up in Kunark and Velious. My primary concern is my ability to lull and pacify.

Not to mention, Innoruuk as race so can go into Neriak (I think Grobb too?) And eventually the mask and helm cleric quests...though I don't know if they will be in at launch.

Not really much to say. Tons of people will be making inny human clerics. Those paineel quests probably (if paineel is taken out of launch) will not be in for a year, and the lich form gets removed 55 days later. So not really something to build your character around.

If paineel is in at launch, I'd probably swap to playing cleric and probably not the only one!

Why charisma? For lulls, right? But during all the time you're not lulling (or selling), charisma would give you no value. It might be better to go full Wis and get a few pieces of charisma gear if non-critical lulls are that important to you.

Yeah I wouldn't do CHA either. 85 base CHA plus cheap +CHA gear like Crude Stein is sufficient for Lulls. The extra WIS will serve much better even through Velious and allow you more gear flexibility for adding resists and HP.

Human Inny cleric. Probably wis and cha. Root, calm, atone is powerful stuff.
