an iksar slave (Droga) not responding/accepting monk shackle quest

Following the guide from the wiki, I spawned An Iksar slave at loc -217 1321 using the 'a crazed iksar' ph that shares a cell with the 'an enslaved iksar'.

The an Iksar slave conned indifferent, was not conversational, and did not accept my Coppernickel key, bronze and copper shackles.

The slave I handed into did not have a shovel, which is warned not to hand in to by the wiki. I ensured I wasn't FD nor sneaking.

I want to check if this unshovelled 'an iksar slave' that doesn't accept a quest but shares a spawn with the 'an iksar slave' and 'a crazed iksar' for the quest' is intended?

or has the 'an iksar slave' for the quest hand in became bugged?

Going by memory, I thought he conned amiable for me when I did the quest (maybe cabilis or swift tails faction).

What race / class and faction standing are you?

I also see this note is in the wiki walkthrough:
There is also a report of an unarmed an iksar slave (no faction hits on death) that is also unresponsive and will also eat your items (30/09/2019). Suggested action is to keep turning over spawns until you have a responsive 'an iksar slave'.

that's from me. I was on an iksar monk.

He conned indifferent and gave no faction hits when killed. Swiftclaws love me, so the indiff surprised me.


I'm guessing there is more than just 'a crazed iksar' and 'an iksar slave' (Veltar) on the spawn cycle. It must include non-quest 'an iksar slave's too. Prior to my edit, the wiki mentioned one with a shovel, but this one did not have a shovel.

Well, its either there are extra non-quest 'an iksar slave' on the cycle (classic?) or the npc has lost his faction/quest?

On the subject of monk shackle quest bugs, the combiners were missing strings text for when they were crafted into new items.

I've turned over a few more spawns and I'm only getting 'a crazed iksar slave' and the irresponsive 'an iksar slave' that cons indifferent.

I have good faction with swiftclaws. What faction is the iksar slave meant to be on?

Perhaps he is on the 'wrong' faction, a faction which maybe I've messed up?

After spending the last couple of days farming 'a crazed iksar' and 'an iksar slave' (indifferent) I have eventually spawned 'an iksar slave' (amiably).

Obviously, I must have handed in to the wrong version of 'an iksar slave'.

The question now is whether the indifferent, unarmed 'an iksar slave' should even be on the 'a crazed iksar' / 'an iksar slave' cycle?

I installed live EQ to see if i could glean information about the jail spawn cycles from live but sadly ToD is currently under a level 50 revamp. Is there a way to enter an instance of the old version, perhaps theough monster mission, progression server or something?
