SK Grim Aura

Is this spell worth bothering with? I saw a SK using it the other day (to my surprise) because I always felt it was useless.

Never tested, but aren't we supposed to get more atk when cast? Due to the fixed level used by the items?

Ok, tested, no difference, 13atk with spell or sword... I was under the impression that the clicky should work at a lesser apparent level and give less atk... There's clearly no reason to use that spell... Hadn't memorized it for 40 levels... Already unmemed and won't touch it anymore...

There's a certain point where after you've gotten +255 STR and maxed your skill caps, that the only way you're increasing +ATK is by doing it directly.

I mean people talk about the 60 RNG spell "Call of the Predator" like it's amazing, and yet people shit on Grim Aura.

I use it fairly often, but don't always have it memmed. I only care if it's dropped if I'm soloing because I need every edge I can get.

Honestly once I hit 39, Shroud of Hate is more useful - I can reduce a mob's attack rating and increase my own. However, they do stack.

The goblin earring is nice because it shortens your spell timeout and it's a "junk buff" for raids.

Yep, and grim aura is good as long as you have the free buff slot for it, the question was more about clicky vs spell.

In general if it’s a spell that scales with level clickies of that spell also scale with level.
