Question regarding Brother Zephyl

I am relatively new to the server and am in the process acquiring a pair of jboots. I've been hanging out on the Hasten spawn path for about 40 minutes now and Brother Z has taken several strolls by me. Through the search function, I've not been able to find any definite answers on whether or not Brother Z despawns; some say that he does, others say that he does not and both claim that their case is "as intended."

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with his despawn time?

6hrs and 10min or so mins I think.

He just despawned in front of me not too long ago.

I can also vouch for Brother Z definitely having a despawn time between 6 and 8 hours. You can also just ask a couple of Magicians to pet him down.

Up 6 hours, down 6 minutes. Up less if killed.
