Reroll Group (all welcome)

Hi, I am a 32 year old male looking for EQ friends after having been gone from the server a while. I have been sporadic in playing blue and I would like to find a group (not necessarily a guild) that I can play new characters with in a group grinding setting. I don't care what your experience level is as long as you can make the times and are willing to play a class on the list.

I picked these classes because I wanted a caster-heavy group in case people aren't twinking. Enchanter/bard provide CC and mana regen, we're good vs. undead areas, and we have travel utility from our bard & wizard. We could change it up, but this way everyone gets the buffs they want and stuff.

Times are negotiable and I am currently a no-lifer. I am looking to re-roll on blue, but if green is real I'd like to re-roll there in October as well. I'd actually prefer to find 5 other people that want to do a new character now and for green both. I'm just EQ hyped and hoping it's a new server.

I decided not to do a druid or shaman in the group so we could have a bard and wizard instead. Just wanted a fruity group of robe wearers, singers, and religious evangelists.

I'd be fine with most group compositions at this point, just wanted to have an idea to start with.

I am interested in joining up. I am also interested in rerolling on green when it launches.

I am open to playing most classes but prefer to avoid Druid, SK, Enchanter.

I am looking for a group to play with! I'm usually good for at least a few hours each night with exceptions of course. Rolled my first P99 character last night on Blue to prep for Green. Haven't played since Luclin on Live, Paladin if that matters. I am definitely open to filling a role!

Any group of 6 people on everquest is good enough for entire pile of content except dragons as long as they weren't all 1 class.

So much fun I would kill for a regular group of squares to have a permagroup questing thru this once a week for mega casual fun times. Been a long time since it was rolling into 2am and the exp group was working so well that I just couldn't be the guy to ruin the group. Good stuff. Classic evercrack.

Why full groups? Overkill for this game. 3 is the best, but if you want to be a little more social go with 4.

I could do something like every thursday starting at 7pm pacific time and just slow motion cruise through the game.

Regarding the poster talking about why 6 players? With 6 players you are a hyper durable content crushing machine + the 6 guy is basically a freebie EXP wise. It gives more durability and less chance of wipes. It allows people to take bio breaks. It also supports more players that might not fit into a power duo or trio.

I'd agree with SK. Never know when you might need FD. With all that mana regen they can basically just keep lifetap going nonstop and cleric will not be using much mana, shouldn't really need backup heals.

Can't go to hate/sky with one group without Wizard. Can nuke for days with that mana regen. Wizard can also handle stuns/snares, the enc focused on cc/slows/charm.

I'm down to play on green, and mornings EST totally work for me. I'm pretty new, having only messed around a bit on blue, but I'd love to get to play with a group to get my feet under me. I am still debating what I would like to play, but almost anything would be new to me, so I'm pretty flexible.

I sent you a PM but I remade this thread in Green discussion and got some interest there so altogether we're up to 4 players.

We're either looking to go all casters (would prefer to get a couple with pets like a mage and necro) or a typical setup with tank/healer. Either way we need two more people.
