View Full Version : DW weapon set for agro/DPS?

So I have
Green Jaded Broadsword 11/25
Jasthar Trident 11/22
Cristline spider fang 10/22. (Plus a proc)
Vigils dark defender 7/20
Using the spider fang in mh and Green Jaded in off hand. I like that because of the Str and sta bonus. Also that set up says my attack, hp and AC is highest. Does that seem the best for holding agro? Sorry I don’t know how to link the weapons.
Suggestions? Oh I also have the silver chiten haste gloves :-)

You never mentioned what your level is which is the most important thing.

Get a fist of zek on the cheap for best off hand ratio. Or like a jagged blade of mourning. They're both >0.5 ratio for like 600p or less.


But with your setup, Jathsar trident MH / Crystalline spider fang or green jade thing OH. 3 dmg proc doesnt really generate any extra aggro, so your best bet is white dmg.

If you're low level ish, like 20-30, staff of battle will hold aggro better than any of those comboes

Also, why the heck do people get caught up on things like stats on your weapons especially while leveling?

I’ve always been a stats player. I figured the more Str or Sta in something the better for a tank type right?
I’ll look into getting a staff of battle. I’ve heard a few times that’s the way to go.

Staff of Battle for a long time.

If intent on DW a Wurm is hard to beat until you get procing weapons. FB and something in the offhand after that for a casual loadout. Sarnak hammer would work or WESS if you have the money. Infestation/FB if you can buy the rights.
