My SO wants to make a human druid because robes are cool. I'm a bit concerned about night time hunting though. Any suggestions on an item or potions that will let her see in the dark? I looked on wiki and it didn't look like druids get a vision spell.

Or the lvl 54 druid spell Form of the Howler grants ultravision

This is a bit out of my price range. Good to know about form of howler though!

You can click the Serpent Sight effect and look for similar items. Same can be fine with ultravision.

It's worth noting that this is all much less of an issue on P99 than it was on live (because the Titanium client reduces the "night blindness" penalty significantly).

If I were in your shoes I'd wait to see if it's really even a problem. Plus, as a Druid you're going to be carrying around a fire beetle eye all the time anyway; at low levels you might as well hold it in your secondary slot and use it for light :)

Your SO will be so immersed at night time you will have to hold their hand and you will fall in love all over again. ;)

If its above your budget you could turn your monitor brightness up

Yeah, it really isn't that much of an issue with this client. In classic, it was easier to get turned around trying to go from Halas to Everfrost (and falling into that ridiculous lake after doing the 180) than to actually find your way through that brief bit of pitch black.

Good times.

A light stone of greater light stone in an inventory slot (not in a bag) gives decent light in game.

Or ...

It’s a level 1 druid spell.

iirc there is one item that is like the most light but i forget what it was, someone actually linked it in a similar thread a couple months ago maybe? I'm not sure.. maybe you can find that thread some how? Also I may be insane and could be totally wrong.

Edit: I found this not sure if it helps: https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=260780&highlight=lightsource

Loramin dont you have a wiki page about this yet :p

Just go back one page in this thread:

http://wiki.project1999.com/Light_source

But I can take no credit; someone else made that page.

One of these days I would like to turn it into a category (so you can see which items are light sources on the item itself) ... but there's a lot of items so I'll have to write a script, so who knows when it will happen.

It's probably somewhere in the Kunark Era Customer Service Guidelines (http://wiki.project1999.com/Kunark_Era_Customer_Service_Guidelines); that thing is huge! ;)

P.S. Don't let the table of contents fool you: there's a lot more that hasn't been "wikified" yet if you scroll down. Quantum supremacy is bound to be in there somewhere, possibly expressed (using symbolic language) in the parts about how to save a player from being under the world.
