How to Shaman @ 36 ? ? ???

Quick one here how are shaman supposed to kill mobs efficiently at 36.

Main info are Troll using a shitty spear with SBS. Chest is ikky bp so decent regen. Mixed hp/wis gear nothing fancy.

Should I root/rot and send pet in below mobs 50% hp?

Slow tank with dots? Won’t pet out dps me and steal xp? Should I go for a GFG+haste?
