A Shadowed Man

I bind in South Karana, kill the 6 shadow men there. Port to West Commons and kill the 4 there. Rinse and repeat with 2 camps, 10 total.


I have killed at least 120+ Shadow Men, im working on multiple Temple quests for friends and myself.

I have yet to see any of the following items drop: Globe of Shadow, Shadowed Essence, and Shadowed Book.

Every other quest item is dropping fairly often, i'd say every 4-5 kills. I know back on live these other items were rare, but this seems too rare!

Can the % please be looked into?

I can confirm that the three items you have listed are currently not dropping from shadowed men. The one thing that I can't really find any confirmation is the globe of shadow. According to Alla it says it drops from both Shadowedmen and the frog shaman. According to magelo it only drops from the frog shaman.

So if anyone can provide me some info with regards to the Globe of Shadow, that would be great. I need to know if I should remove it from the Shadowedmen or not.

That "Shadowed book" still doesn't seem to drop, ive cleared lava camp like 3-4 times and there atleast 8mobs each spawn, but no book

It doesn't go in until the next patch.

Got some info that Globe of Shadow should only drop from Nokta Shaman... therefore Shadowed Men will NOT be dropping globe of shadow after the next patch.

Moving to resolved, watch for the patch notes folks.

I did not want to start a new thread but on allas it says min lvl 24 max lvl 26 so at lvl 40 should i be having a lt blue con shadowman? and I think they are a definite undercon

All a_shadowed_man in the database are either level 24, level 25, or level 26.

i camped this guy for 12 hours one day and nothin, went back the next day for 4 hours and nothin.
currently i been at this camp for 6 hours and still nothing.

Nokta shaman in uguk, there was a patch yesterday on 2/27/10.
That means they are not dropping from shadowed men anymore eh? cuz im srsly thinkin about switchin camps soon or just find someone to calm the 3 necros in neriak.

*update* finally into the 7th hour this time it finally dropped!, guess i just had to come here an complain =P
so, verified it does drop off nokta shaman.

a_froglok_nokta_shaman of Upper Guk has a 31% chance of dropping Globe of Shadow.

Do all shadowed men in all zones have a chance of dropping a shining zone?

Decided to do start doing my glamour rod quest but wanted to make sure I don't end up hunting them in a zone where the item simply won't drop.

Anyone know if I have to go to specific zones to get the shining stone or the glowing gloves to drop?

In theory all shadowed men camps should have the same loot tables but I would really like confirmation of this before I spend an entire night sitting in South Karana or Lavastorm and get nothing.
