Necros - was this a good CoS trade?

I just traded my coldain boots, coldain gloves and loam encrusted robe plus 14Kpp for his CoS.

I had been trying to sell all three of those items and hadn’t gotten a nibble. His initial asking price was 22K pp. We settled on this trade. Necros - was this a good trade?

Gear and plat come out to ~22k, so its a pretty even deal. Any time you can offload old gear for something you need/not spend time sitting in EC, its a win.

I always feel like it's a good trade when you get something that doesn't drop for things that do drop. Unless you got the nerfed one, then bad deal.

Regardless of how many are on the server they won’t drop any more and the price is going to stay pretty high. It’s an invaluable item whether charming or simply moving around.

Also, To add nothing to this - having the insta invis just makes eq so much more fun. I have tried a couple alts and having to mem spells or recharge things for invis/insta invis is such an inconvenience. You did good!

IMO, CoS is border line a must for necro's, so, yeeess good deal. Granted goblin ring works for charming, CoS has so many other uses. Dumping aggro after FD for one

This was a Outstandingly good trade in your favor , if the server knew how easy it is to get Coldain skin boots and gloves they would both top out 500pp each.( probably less)

The CoS is a must have for every Necro and Sk , anyone who claims otherwise should never be listened too ever again.

I played a necro in live up to 65 and quit around POP. I had a COS back then, instant cast self only invis, could be clicked from inventory. I don't recall a nerf to it. What was the nerf?

They added a pretty significant cast time to it
