You can show combat damage as just numbers with any UI, but he's using Rustle UI (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=304566) in the screenshot.

To have only numbers show up for combat damage you right click on the chat window and go to > hit modes > ALL > numbers only. Then you can make the window transparent and rather compact if you want.
