Old guy with first cell phone and want to change the ring tone to the classic EQ skelly laugh or the ding sound.
I don't have the disks anymore so can't rip em from there.
Can one of you post the files on here?
I'll get one of my grand kids to transfer it to the fone.

I used an app a couple phones back called Zedge. I ran a search for everquest sounds and i managed to find the level up ding sound. I had that as my text message notification forever..

TLDR- Download Zedge if you have a smart phone :) Search for everquest in app.

Pretty sure all the games sounds are just kept as .wav files (which your computer surely has a program for) in the "sounds" subfolder in your EverQuest folder.

You may go mad having to listen to every possible mob's attack noise trying to find the particular effect you're looking for, but I'm guessing they're in there somewhere.

Some sounds are squished together in a compilation file, type *.eff I think. Inside the eff lives wav if I recall right?

Oh, that's very possible. I just know for sure that there's a ton of wav files in that folder. I have no idea if every sound is in there or if some are in other places (so it's entirely possible the "ding" is in an .eff file).

Jeff is right. They have both the DING and Skelly laugh on Zedge. Just search notifications. They have a good amount of EQ music as well.

OK, thanks.
As a kinda sorta mediocre low level computer kind of guy. Would someone who is higher lvl than 1.5 sort me out the wav file and post it here so I can fetch it?

So...listening to alot of the .wav files in the Sounds folder im prreeeetttyy sure Ive never heard any of those sounds on p99. Guess they're all from newer expacs and the real soundfiles are those .eff files or something. No idea how to work around that, sorry man.

Oki Doki. This worked thanks. I have the skelly laugh for messages and the Level up tone for calls.
Just what I wanted.

I use the kelethin(wakening land) music as my alarm clock. Honestly makes waking up easier, highly recommended, or whatever zones music you prefer.
