I am one of the very few to fear kite on this server, seems most agro kite or just group, so this being over looked wouldnt suprise me with no feedback.

There is many many many times that I cast fear and it breaks instantly! Doesnt last 1.0 second. Right now I am kiting orc's and it broke instantly 5 times in a row, maybe once or twice, but 5 times in a row seems too unbalanced.

Anychance the timer on it can be looked into?

This is how fear was in classic. I mained a necro and fear kited like a bastard. What level are you and what do the mobs you're trying to fear /con?

ive been fear kiting when i was soloing from around lvl 20 to now 39.. have never had that problem..

I am a brand new char.. my necro is level 6, and every time i try to cast fear, it gives the following:


Your fear spell as worn off mobx
Mobx looks afraid.

it wears off before it hits. anyone have any ideas?

was the mob feared already? if so it is just refreshing.

nope.. its on a totally fresh mob... my charisma is 65.. someone in game asked me that to see if my charisma was stopping it.



i opened a /bug in game.. it can reproduce at will. i tried to redownload and replace the spell_us.txt with no luck.

i tried a white, 2 blues, and 3 greens. all the same response, i receive a message that the spell has worn off before the spell actually effects the mob.
