Kerra vs Kerra Isle faction

To whom it may concern,

I believe the Kerra Isle cats faction is broken. If one is max Ally to Kerra, which can be obtained by killing Erudian guards, you are still KOS to Kerraisle Faction.

According to the wiki Kerra faction does not exist. only Kerraisle. Yet in p99 they are two separate factions.

Doing some research in old EQ forums it seems like the factions are supposed to be linked and Killing Erudite guards is supposed to make the Kitties of Kerra Isle like you due to their hatred for each other. :eek:

Please advice, and fix if necessary.

I solved this one.

Before the first Kerra Isle revamp in early 2000, kerra island factions were different. See screenshot from this youtube slideshow of old EQ screenies, attached:

Kerra Isle inhabitants gave the following faction hits:

-Kerra
+HighCouncilofErudin
+HighGuardofErudin
+GemChoppers

Kerra Isle was revamped in April 2000 according to newsgroups:

'Fraid not. They reset the factions as of last weeks' revamp. Now
killing Kerrans just lowers your factions with Kerrans (go figure).

The pre-revamp kerra mob info is in the spreadsheet from late 1999 that I dug up, in case there's appetite for recreating it as it was pre-Kunark (spreadsheet rows attached).

For now, the factions could be tweaked at least so this isn't mismatched between kerra/erudin guards anymore. It should then revert to how it presently is with Kunark release.
