Felwithe entrance is quite good but it's also camped a lot of the time. Are there other good spots I should be looking into?

Could try soloing the moat area in KC charm killing if yer any good at it (can get tricky at times) but it's good xp if ya get the hang of it at that level there, and some nice cash drops you can sell.

The next 3 levels are rough. I suggest spending time in a duo at KC just to keep the bar moving.
Get keyed for howling stones and stay there till the end. You could probably go there now and get in a group or duo. Everything in there seems to harm touch though, so mistakes are deadly. With charm at 54, it's a better spell and higher level means less breaks and resists.
Again, it's rough until you can solo in Howling stones.

Probably not as good but you can go fear kite the three undead ruin in TT that are right near EJ zl...

Sentries and Guardians in SS should be doable at 51. I think Felwithe guards, Wakening Lands faerie dragons and Burning Woods giant fort or just wurm roamers along the wall south of itas well.

First there is 2 camps of guards in felwithe, entrance and south, and the 3 guards roaming up the rampart are often not killed.
If you like guards you have also Oggok, Kelethin and Kaladim that have guards of the same levels. Even freeport may be? I am not too familliar with those.
Ice giants are great but they are very often camped, seafurries on the otherside since the nerf there isn't many people killing them. There is a giant fort in burning woods as well.
If you feel like charming the second floor of city of mist is pretty good. The basement in howling stone is possible at 51 as well.

Other options to add to the list in case things are camped: Nobles/bard in HHK and dark elf guards

I meant Grobb, Oggok guards are all green past 50.

I did 51-54 in like a week at the entrance to the hole. There’s like 10 and once they’re split it’s suoer easy to hold.

That is a hard camp to break. Is it even possible to break solo at 51?

Nobles were a really good camp at that level.

On old classic retail I solo'd the entrance hallway golems / elementals as a magician to 51 I think, which was great due to a specialized nuke that landed every time and the fact that all of the mobs single pulled short of the drop off point beyond the hall. Posts from 2000 on Allakhazam will back this up starting from Doraedin's on down on the last page of post comments.

On P1999 they're improperly spawned too close to each other so you get a fat mess unless you Lull / Mez them. Not classic. In theory a lower 50's necro could break the spawns solo by cheating with some wooly spider nets for instant roots. I'm having a hard time thinking of any other way to pull it off.

any undead area. I haven't tried it, but, perhaps the spectral keeper/legionnaires near the Seb entrance?

Too low level and lots of melee, ruins near EJ zline are safe, higher level and most are wizards, which is nice if you fear kite...

You don't need to blow root net charges if it's just a double pull. Pull by rooting one, FD once the other is close. The rooted one instant blurs because it's on spawn and the other will beeline for you once you stand up. Does not work if you're trying to pull roamers. Only on static spawns.

Since you're in the area, kill guards in Kelethin.
Almost no competition, about 12p per kill, and you can easily bank there.

High Keep nobles are great if they arent camped. If you have pre-nerf cos, you can float between the 2 nobles and bards easily, no pet and just root/dot them. I think theres another noble upstairs.. can basically do 5 spawn if you wanna be super active. Splurt really makes this easy.

Fear kiting in Skyfire along the zone wall between OT and BW. There's a safe spot right near where the lava river disappears into the zone wall. Pull with dispell to get rid of any damage shields.

I seem to recollect trying to pull the first one to the left and all 6 golems aggroed.

If the fear pathing is favorable you could use fear and immediately FD(ideally with a clicky to reset global cooldown) to try to split some of them. Obviously the 10% or whatever fail chance would really suck if you rolled snake eyes.

At 51, it's gonna be hard to beat City of Mist, moat area, for charm killing.
Mobs are of perfect level, it's outdoors, 0 casters, tons of undead, it's very safe, you can even get creative with pathing and/or levitation (although this is not necessary).
If moat is camped you can try the 2nd flooor of CoM, although it's going to be a bumpy ride at 51. Mobs go up to level 46-47 and this is just a tad too high for comfort (though you can also use lev / pathing to your advantage). But at least you can kill a few mobs while waiting for the moat to open.
Downside: no good loot

I've heard it's become popular for necros to camp the trolls (ogres?) in Neriak Foreign Quarter arena. What level can those be started?

Absolutely, I started doing it at 49 on my Necro. All you have to do is send pet in to aggro and then spam /pet back. There should be 3 that pull at a time (not all 10 come) and then you just root or snare one and flop. The others walk back to their spot and you stand up and kill. You go through a few pets just getting them split, but once it’s split up you can hold t easily. It gets even easier at 51 with splurt.
