Couldn't you use this for solo kiting?? Get agro on a mob, cast the sword, and begin kiting?

Oh jesus that spell costs a ton of mana i just saw... Doesn't seem worth it for anything at this point? 1 nuke will do more dmg than anything that sword can put out, yeah?

I have heard tales of people summoning this before a raid and then reclaiming it halfway through for extra mana.

It could kinda be useful for pushing mobs. How fast does it attack ?

I get about 500 dmg from pet on a typical vindi kill, with a net gain in mana because I can cast it early before I start dropping 2k nukes and med a bit, then reclaim it near the end.

Also used it on enraged golem in fear a few times.

You can cast it without a valid target? The description suggests the contrary.

You can not cast it without a valid target. I don't remember if it taunts and you can't turn it off either. It's a pretty much completely useless spell, if you can cast on a raid target and be sure no one is going to turn it, then maybe it's possibly of minimum use. If you try to solo kite with it, the npc will turn around and kill it.
