I need help making my skeleton pet attack the NPC I start attacking using my spell or melee attack.

I like to make a macro for grouping with my necro too.

/assist (tank or puller name here)
/pet attack %t
/attack off

The last part just turns the auto attack part of the assist command off, so I don't get spammed by your target is too far away messages.

Mattil, use /assist off and you won't start autoattack when assisting.
