Helping A New Gnome out

Hey there! My name is Traxel the Gnome Necromancer, and I’m looking for some help! I use to play EQ way back in the day and I’m just getting back into today! p99 has great reviews and I heard the community is super awesome to new people! I was wondering if there was anyone around Steamfront mountains that could possibly help me out with like 5p just to get some bags and spells! If not thanks for your time guys and happy hunting!

As you no doubt found out, when you have a new account you have to wait for moderators to approve your posts for awhile.

You are right next to EC if you are in freeport. And you can probably beg some plat off people in the tunnel.

Also, I don't want to dissuade you from playing a human, but you did say "back in the day"; if it was before Iksars showed up you might want to think long and hard about your race choice if you are planning to stick to this character 50+. The class forums are filled with people regretting their race choices.

That said, I'd echo the unqualified opinions of these elfs here, namely: you should visit the [Eastern Commonlands]. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for there. Quite sure...

I've seen people complain about it, but im doing this for the nostalgia more then anything the min/maxing doesn't bother me to much!

I know, but i started before Iksar, and i want to play a Human again, i know im putting myself behind by doing so but im here to have fun and explore all over again, i feel like human will allow me to move around more freely without putting to much effort into getting faction and FDing to bank :)

It's true. I went DE because I love Neriak and I really like the DE models. However, I'm in skelly form more often than not, so I regret no going Iksar.
