Quest: Libary Book

Hello Project 1999 Admins!

I am playing as a druid on the Project 1999 Classic EQ server and I either screwed up or the quest screwed up. The Libary Book quest completes and rewarding the person with a +10 Wisdom offhand book, Testament of Vanear. I was at the very end of of this quest, followed what Allakhazam.com has for the walkthough and i gave the completed book to Rarnan Lapice. I got some exp some money and a spell... I "thought" I was supposed to get the +10 Wisdom book, that is why I did the quest. Below is the copy of the walkthough from Allakhazam.com

"Moodoro Finharn says 'Lucky you. We were hoping to really clean you out. Here you go. Take the page. Even together, the book is nothing more than fiction.'

Combine Page 30 of a Book and Page 34 of a Book in the Testament of Vanear.

Receive Testament of Vanear.

Return to Rarnan Lapice and hand in the Testament of Vanear.

Rarnan Lapice says 'I sent you after that book ages ago! What took you so long? I have already completed my studies. Luckily I found the original manuscript under my bedroll. I forgot I had kept it there. Take this as a token of my apology. Maybe it will aid you in your next book hunt. I know how cunning those books can be.'

Your faction standing with Peace Keepers got better.
Your faction standing with High Council of Erudin got better.
Your faction standing with Heretics got worse.
You gain experience!!
You receive 20 gold from Rarnan Lapice.
You receive 3 platinum from Rarnan Lapice."


Please help me! If I did something wrong I don't understand, and it did take me a LOT of time to get this quest completed.

When you combined the pages you received the +10 Wisdom book, The Testament of Vanear.

That's all you need to do, no turn-in required. Similar to the Paw of Oppolla quest. Once the combine is complete, you're done.

Unfortunately, turning the complete Testament completes a separate quest where the only reward is that spell. You didn't necessarily do anything "wrong", you simply did too many things right to achieve your goal. Heh.

Thank you for the addtional information Morfnblosh. Unfortunatly you are right I went too far with my turn in's I guess. I just didn't realize that would happen.

I just am hoping that the book can be refuned or will I have to camp page 30, and give out 4gp 20,30,40 times to Moordoro to get the book again?
