5,000 plat Rogue Twink Challenge

Guys,

Firstly, the idea is to get a good base of gear for levels 1-50. Thank you in advance for helping me out.
I currently have budget of 5k and I'm starting a Rogue. (Willing to see a 10k budget as well, if that's a great deal better.)

Please help with some gear I should be keeping an eye out for, along with average price.
Partial entries are welcome. Especially for weapons and jewelry.

10k = iksar regen bp and begging for cheap ass weapons in EC. Will give you far better xp / hour than anything else besides paying for straight plvl.

I've done my research. I just haven't played in 3 years (since velious) and much is different for gear and pricing.

55hp rings like mentioned for sure
SCHW I see for 1k
Hero bracer if you're not a midget
Orc fang ears like Toxigen (hi) said or substitute diamondine earrings
Spider fur collar is a great cheap neck piece with a lot of STR
Troll hide belt is a cheap item witha little bit of STR
Dark scale greaves are a personal favorite
Frozen shard is good or consider a Trak tooth or even a crystalline claw dagger

Ravenscale mask or some sort of wearable see invis item is going to be worth the tradeoff in stats. It sucks not being able to see yourself when hiding and if you're like me you could forget you're zoomed out in 3rd person and fall into some lava or whatever

You could also consider a lower end Velium spear as they are priced very reasonable and can carry you all the way to epic (along with the other weapons I mentioned.) Something like a 11/22 would be pretty cheap to pick up

Pretty confident most of this is the way to go bang for the buck wise. Priority to your weps, haste, See Invis, and then as much str and hp you can get with what is left over.

Head - crested helm 100pp
Face - ravenscale mask 600pp ***
Chest - giant woven vest (barb) 100pp or Brigandine tunic 175pp

Back - spider fur cloak 175pp
Waist - troll-hide belt 50pp
Shoulders - bloodstained mantle 50pp
Wrists - hero bracer 200pp / bracer of erollisi 50pp / tar goo strands 50pp
Legs - black ice leggings 250pp
Hands - silver chitin hand wraps 1k ***
Feet - dwarven work boots 150pp
Primary - trakasaur’s tooth 10/20 500pp, engraved velium spear 11/21 2k, Carved velium spear 11/20 2k ***
Secondary - Crystalline short sword 500pp ***
Range - any bow (barb) or shurikens

You can of course forego the sash and go SCHW + TBB or something.

Any list that doesn't include Frozen Shard (or small dragonbone shard for shorties) is wrong. 13/26 piercer for< 1k is unbeatable until epic. Compliment with CSS or Jade mace and you're good until epic/raids.

Treeweave is a cheap option if you can wear it (like 200p)
Hero Bracer is a cheap option (like 150p) that's good for a long time
Sarnak Hide mask is like 50p
5/55 rings are great (500p)

All of that added up is around 3500 or so. Can fill in with banded or whatever and you'll be 90% as effective as a fully decked out twink. Maybe spend the rest of the $ on a couple WR bags and some SoW pots. My 2cp.

You're absolutely right about the Frozen Shard. My Rogue is a 'slow burner' character who I only play with a couple very casual friends every once in a while. Trakasaur's Tooth is crazy good before L20!

Great use of OP's budget too, weight reduction bags are always welcome.
