I tend to suffer extreme fugue confusion vertigo and shorterm memory loss. I have struggled with this since childhood. I'm interested in home remedies. So far I try:
Getting enough but not too much sleep.
Exercise.
Good hydration and electrolyte balance.
Tasks that require consistent and considerable concentration.
I find that the only thing that really helps is staying in ketosis, and exercising. When I am in a fast I have a lot more energy and focus. All my blood tests say I am in the 90th percentile of perfect health. No diabetes. Good organ function. No major metabolic defects.
Anyone have more insight on all of this?

Try to remember that your Methyl Red & Voges-Proskaur (MR-VP) tests won’t both test positive in almost all organisms, with some very rare exceptions. In fact, a double positive here is a good way to control for errors in your experiment. It’s helpful to remember the organisms in this test do opposite things.
With MR we are looking for organisms capable of performing mixed acid fermentation. These tend to be more stable than most fermentation acid end products and are therefore capable of overcoming the medium’s phosphate buffer, resulting in the medium becoming quite acidic. Methyl red gives a positive result at pH 4.4.
In the VP test we are checking for organisms that recycle their fermentation acids into acetoin and 2,3 butandiol (probably misspelled that). These are neutral substances, so the medium’s pH won’t be very acidic at all. VP reagents turn red in the presence of acetoin and give a positive for this type of organism.
Sorry if I missed anything. Just typed that off the top of my head. Hope this helps.
Forgot to mention the important thing! This is part of the IMViC battery of tests used to differentiate between members of the family Enterobacteriacea and other Gram-negative rods.

Brain fog comes w/ depression. I perscribe sex with a sharp and kind person whom you respect, dear Mae.
don't worry about looks and look instead for someone who will fuck you right! you want to find someone whose dating profile demonstrates literacy without being try-hard teen intellectual indignant-about-AOL punckchyuation. those boys have rage problems and misogyny.
Maybe find some stoner dude who's all about flower power shit and kinda ignorant in a cute way, who's read enough Terrence McKenna to at least have learned basic vocab from it. someone who works manual labor and subscribes to masculine stereotypes, but is all about being accepting and keeping the energy in the room cool.
don't let it be "a relationship" and don't be needy w/ them. treat it like a business relationship where the business is sex, friendship and a little escapism. you can be needy w/ me instead.
this'll put your gains to good use too. think it'll rly improve your perspective.

Definitely, so maybe if I meter out the caffeine dosages more consistently? Going to try making much smaller hits of coffee.

Yes. Absolutely. My therapist is pretty sure the memory holes are directly related to severe trauma that is totally possible to overcome. And that I desperately need validation and affection from a masculine archetype.
You probably have a bacterial brain infection. Bacteria like lyme or chlamydia pneumoniae (not the STD) can consume glucose but not ketones. Exercise will help you because it will stimulate your brain blood flow and possibly your adrenals which are likely in some level of fatigue, because everyone's are (but this stimulation is not necessarily good in the long term).
The best treatment is ozone autohemotherapy, because ozone fixes everything.
If you have neurolyme, the root cause is likely a zinc/copper imbalance. Most people in the US have too much copper and not enough zinc, and it's especially likely in your case as high zinc is masculine (an average ejaculate contains 5mg of zinc) while high copper is feminine. Chronic lyme disease causes a vicious cycle where the body hides pathogenic iron, but the low free iron results in pyroluria, which causes zinc deficiency, which reduces your immune activity. High copper is also a source of mental instability which, I must say frankly, matches you. The usual treatment is heavy supplementation of zinc and vitamin b6.
Finally, saunas are excellent as they both heat you up (remember, fevers slow down infections) and help you balance your minerals by sweating out the extra ones.
Anyway, these are just some ideas to get you started. However, I have to warn you that as you fix your body it will probably begin to revert toward its natural male state, so there is that to consider.

I have run a caloric deficit for over a year now. I hate how sluggish I feel when running caloric surplus. It's possible that I made things worse if my brain isn't able to replenish its own fat supply sufficiently, I guess.
I believe the overall effect is minimal however.

Humans have been selected over millions of years hunting for prey and very little sliced bread growing on trees.

Yep. And the occasional green / tree fruit isn't that bad for keto. Olives are pretty ok amiright? Avocado. Wild fruits and grains also had a higher fiber to carb/nutrient ratio as well. And weren't the hard hitting 400 calorie cake buns we tend to enjoy a lot today.
Popped up and just downed a thrive lvl protein shake. Feeling no cravings whatsoever. I could probably keep my fast going smoothly. Going to break it a little later though with some cottage cheese and a banana probably.
Looks like a 500mg caffeine day though. I think I have a serious problem with it.
Sometimes I wish I lived up in the wilderness with a hunter. I would trade blowies for meats. And cook. Prep. Garden. Teach the rugrats to make stock from leftover bones. I would probably die from a single bugbite and drug withdrawal tho. And freeze to death.

Humans were meant to be on ketosis because carbs do not exist in nature
Wheat is epically genetically modified
Corn is epically genetically modified
even rice was nothing like current rice when humans found it
Sugar was never meant to be grown and processed the way we do it
Fat was not something that was ever common and if you look at animals the only ones that have fat eat lots of fruit ( like bears ) as there is no other way in nature to get carbs
Agreed.

None of this is accurate?
Carbs have always existed. Berries existed, tubers existed, honey existed.
Tons of animals pack on fat (pinnipeds, whales, bears, basically anything that needs to hunker down in the winter).
We're meant to eat anything we want - you just have to make reasonable decisions to burn off that excess caloric intake since you're not parading across the savannah for your entire existence anymore.

Also we aren't likely to be sitting around stationary eating 10lb of berries all day.

Goodluck getting enough honey in nature to get fat without getting owned by bees, cavemen level humans had no idea it was a thing
Carrots have been genetically modified and when humans found them they were as thin as a piece of spaghetti
Same with potatoes
Sure berries existed but after eating one serving the chemical change in our brain tells us to stop, not lay there for a week to keep gaining body fat for the winter so we can hibernate
carbs have never been as plentiful and available as they are in our society now and the mental illness they cause due to inactivity is the biggest problem in America
Yep.
.... Do you know what carbohydrates are?
Honestly, I don't think most people know what carbs are. That fruits, quinoa, and brown rice are high carb foods. There's just general lack of education on diet. This is from my own experience of having to explain it many times to even somewhat educated people. The fact that people believe anything they read on the internet and don't do their own research doesn't help.
There's definitely some trolling going on here though. Shoes2 might just be legit dumb tho.

All sorts of stuff in that. Hormones... I’m assuming carbohydrates to give the little guys something to snack on during their trip. Most structural things in the body are made from protein. Enzymes are proteins. Sperm use lysosomes, membrane bound digestive enzyme sacs, to chew through the egg cell wall. Not sure on how abundant it is, exactly, but yeah there’s definitely protein.
Nevermind. On average, 20-60mg protein per mL of ejaculate. Well under a calorie as a source of protein. Average ejaculation 3.4 mL I keep seeing.

Just take a copious amount of pure lsd and explore the introspective nightmare. After 36 hours your body will normalize as the brain is caught in a storm of maintaining basic functions along with processing extra/elevated sensory inputs. The chronic auditory hallucinations will be deemed to be real, and that's when you drink a glass of milk or take a calcium supplement with Irish whiskey. Then wait an hour and drink orange juice with a taco from Taco Bell. When you vomit, if you see spiders in the semi digested meat then you know you're okay and can contemplate a cat's dew claw as a proto-thumb.

Retard mode only happens to the weak minded who can't synthesize that their perception or notions aren't reality. You can see this commonly in sex workers who have to rationalize themselves as better than the people paying them for sexual activities. I'm more curious why you'd make such a weak generalization about brains and chemical additives.

Look. I am not getting married anytime soon. Everyone I know doesn't even know how to make or appreciate a proper stock. I have exceeded everyone in basically all basic skills. Except driving. Or piloting various craft. I am terrible as I easily get lost and confused and motion sick with a below average reaction time. And kinda forget where I am going. Disorientation is a big problem with me.
Very few people are attractive enough to put up with their flawed and disordered messy chaotic behavior. Absolutely no one I have easy physical access to. It's very frustrating trying to cope with and keep track of what people are doing to my environment. I often forget what I did and why. Life is hard enough without having to tolerate a serious relationship.

Honey is 80%+ sugar, therefore carb.
Simple sugar too, highish glycemic index (perfect for getting a fat ass).
Whoever said our ancestors were getting plenty of carbs running around gathering honey and berries obviously never got out of a city (probably mom's basement too).
Go to the nearest forest and see how much honey / berries you end up with at the end of the day. Then try doing the same during the winter. Let us know about the results here :)

Two months is just long enough to put on 20lb of fat if you really work hard at it. It takes less than two months of sedentary starvation to lose all of that again. Staying in one spot long during bear season without some decent weapons tech and teamwork is a great way to "become fat" (on something else).
