Plague Shark (Erud's Crossing)

So this guy is for vambraces of ro, seemingly a bigger pain in the ass than any other piece. I looked for him for over 2 hours a monthish ago, following the comments on alla trying to find it. I couldn't report a bug with solro without solro being out so have been waiting for it to come out.

I brought a 50 druid with me (tonight) to help me track. He ran around the island and couldn't find it, and I visited my favorite spawn points and couldn't find it. He's supposedly a 2 hour spawn? so maaaaybe he wasn't up? but I doubt anyone killed it..

One of the comments says that the plague shark is linked to the boat, so that's why I think it may be bugged.

-increased chance of getting rotten meat

Both the plague sharks and killer sharks should cancel magic and proc a disease based DD. Does anyone know what the DD or lifetap is? Says ~180 dmg on posts.

I've killed this pal a number of times now. Here's what I gotta say:


I don't think his proc is working, as he's never done it.

He has dropped the rotten shark meat, and also has not dropped it, so I believe that is working properly.

Should he be indifferent or scowls? cuz, he's indiff.

His spawn time is a very good exact 2 hours, so working properly.

Found some more information:

plague shark
They also teleport their corpse around the zone. Hits for up to 70hp and casts dispel magic. Related to Vambraces of Ro.while i was on the boat in eruds crossing i saw a druid and some other caster attacking a plague shark and i clicked on the plague shark to con it and it conned indiffrent red. havent seen a plague shark since though. killer shark
These sharks do major damage when they bite, and can dispell as well.Stay AWAY from these guys! One bite canceled out my Enduring Breath, Invis, and SoW

Pending update:

-plague shark has no faction. procs nullify magic.
-killer sharks are kos. proc nullify magic.

Anyone have a good idea for a disease based proc that does around 180dmg ?

wtf does that mean? you kill it and the corpse jumps to a different place? sounds more like a bug, or something incredibly retarded, imo.

Haha. Well, I was quoting the line as proof of its dispell magic. That part of the sentence just happened to come along with the quote. It came from Everlore, circa 2000.

I do remember having a real pain with that shark. If it was up, it would follow the boat around, linked to it. Also, it would teleport across the zone, fly over the island, docks, etc. I assume that's what they meant.
