I already know what my costume will be for this year's fan faire:

I wonder why they didn't feature this guy's story:

Also I wonder if this show will include any stories on any of the P99 legendary playmakers?
The fact that you posted this tells me you don't know. It's cool. I hope levelling at orc highway is fun for you.
But yes. There are some legendary pull team members at the top end. People who made mind blowing plays, week after week, in what was a remarkably awesome raid scene.

I do appreciate that there is an effort being made to spread EQ to other generations in their 20 anni vid. I mean, that's a classic Philly D set up in the background. It appeals to younger viewers. A handsome man talking to you about a game. Interesting objects in the background. Yet, they still focus on their older, core gamer base.
Yes, this is a very interesting approach. I don't see a ton of potential, but I believe I see where they are going with this. Keep the core base watching and excited, while enticing another generation. Hmm.. That's what I took from this. Daybreak suddenly became a bit more interesting to me.

Mangler is the last rodeo. EQ sunset soon. Ride and die mfers!
Are they no longer true box servers? That’s how I’m reading the new update rules. I was semi-interested until I learned they will allow boxing on both servers! The mage bot army’s are awful on the boxing servers and a huge turnoff. They should have done a truebox FV ruleset server IMHO.

They should turn that guy into a raid boss if they end up doing custom content

New expansions will release on the first Wednesday of each month, starting with The Planes of Power on May 1, 2019. Selo is a Truebox server and, once the server catches up to the present era, will become a standard Live server.
New expansions will unlock every 12 weeks. After Gates of Discord unlocks, expansions that do not include a level cap increase will remain current for only 8 weeks before the next unlock. Expansions that do have a level cap increase will be current for 12 weeks. Mangler is a Truebox server and, once the server catches up to the present era, will become a standard Live server.

Phinigel is our fourth version of a Progression Server, and we’re calling this a “True Box Server.” This is a server where each player will only be able to play on one EverQuest account from each one of their computers.
Players won’t vote to unlock content on Phinigel, and the server won’t wait until all of the raid content is defeated before the expansion unlock timer starts. Instead, every 12 weeks, expansion content will unlock on this server.
That means 12 weeks of Classic EverQuest, 12 weeks of The Ruins of Kunark, 12 weeks of The Scars of Velious, and so on. This is a server for players that want to move through the content faster than the previous progression servers have allowed.
In addition, on Phinigel, big raid targets from each expansion will be instanced.

Anyhow. Ya. They are allowing boxing. I know that's an older quote, but that is true boxing.
I suppose the idea is that you can play as many chars as you want, as long as you have a computer for each char. True boxing is really about extra sub money.
