Lizard Crusaders

After clearing the 4 corners pyramid and talking to other SKs, Lizard Crusaders in Cazic Thule only apear to be spawning at the Avatar Pyramid when they should be able to spawn anywhere the higher level lizards spawn (AoF bubble, sewers, 4 corners pyramid, above Throne Room etc)

We killed a crusader in the Throne Room this past weekend and he had the mail and one of the legs. I think it is pretty rare, as I usually only see one piece on them. Kinda nice to get lucky, though.

We were pulling from Archon temple to the back wall a few days ago and a crusader was up. It came in and we dropped it like we normally would.

Hey. I hunt Crusaders left and right. Everytime I log on I invis and go searching the usual spots. They spawn where other lvl 30 mobs are. here are the spots I check. UTR, LMP and UMP, Silver Temple, and down near the AoF room and the sewers. They are hard to find and are a very rare spawn. Camped UMP the other night for 10 hours. Went from 1 bub left in lvl 30 to 1 bub to lvl for 32. That whole time we were up there we only saw 4 crusaders. I have the DF helm, gaunts, greaves, decayed right boot and bracer and the chainmail. All this within 5 days work. The quest is hard but it can be done in a matter of a couple of weeks. Good luck

What kind of evidence are you specifically looking for Nilbog? How they should be spawning or how they are currently spawning on p1999? The thread Segoris linked has alot of info on where they should be able to spawn.

In terms of how it is on p1999 currently, everyone I've asked has not seen them spawn anywhere other than the Avatar pyramid.

We have killed like 60+ lizzards at Archon pyramid and NOT 1 Crusader have spawned.......

So cant SK get there armor pcs........

They should pop where Zealots pop. That's how it was in 1999.

Here, they pop just above the AoF, and its already flooded now with people camping it for their alts etc. PITA really. So all the solo classes's alts will have the sol ro gear before the mains! ha

I can make this happen.. with corroborating opinion. The amount of places where zealots can spawn though.. is quite large.

I can add them at a very low percentage to a lot of camps?

I think that would be fair. I have read several places that Zealots are supposedly PH for Crusaders.

Atm afaik the only place Crusaders spawn is at the top of the Avatar of Fear Pyramid.

There are 58 possible spots a zealot can spawn. Still determining the best way to do this :)

Having camped, and help camp several sets of darkforge, i remembered zealots were PHs for crusaders. I do not know exact rates, but it was about a 10% spawn rate. There weren't 58 places that a crusader could spawn though.

I can't confirm or deny the 58 possible spawn locations (based on the zealot place holder theory), but I do know for a fact that lizardman crusaders did spawn in the throne room area, the pyramid, four corners and the Avatar of Fear/globe area.

It's hard to put an exact number to it, but it could be 58 since they could spawn where ever a zealot could.

In addition to the areas mentioned they could even spawn on named ph spots like the golem ph spot in the gator tunnel.

Sure on this? I thought it was lizard champion that could spawn in the spot of the named.

Let me check some logs when I get home, might give some more info there. But I do remember crusaders being down by the AOF and there were zealot spawns there...but I don't think their were 58.

The PH thing didn't apply to the Avatar's PH (that was always a champion) but I think it was for the others. Also I am fairly certain about the golem PH being able to spawn as a crusader (I seem to remember being harmtouched in the pool but my memory may be off) Trying to find proof atm.

Thank you all for working so adamantly to get this resolved. The SKs on this server are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to acquire this armor. HALP! :P

I am going to throw my 2 cents in here as I did play in 1999 - created human SK xadion April 23 1999 to be exact- I lived in CT when I leveled, crawled thru to camp AoF in my 30s etc etc-

in that I knew CT like the back of my hand- i love p1999 bc it has the pre nerf/changed CT-

I also gathered all my darkforge for armor, and then again for my epic there- the zelot comment is correct- and crusaders where not all /that/ rare- when no groups where exping in CT there would generaly be 1-2 up- clear an area and you could find them fairly reguarly- they also do drop 2 parts of the decaying- as for most of them you need 2 parts- like decay mail and decay plate for the BP etc etc--

DF and RS is already some of the hardest class armor b/c of the level needed to get it- while crafted and everyone elses shit is candy.

When I camped crusaders for my epic- I would run thru and destroy the sewers and there would, as I said- atleast 1-2 crusaders upon full repop of just the sewer area.

Edit: PH- yes i have seen crusaders in PH spots. Just as one of the random PH's not takeing up a chance for a named- if that makes sence lol.

AoF/Sewers was always for me, the best place to camp for decaying.
