New Player - Never able to log in even once.

1. I have downloaded the client. Deleted the files, and replaced them with the p1999 files on the forum getting started page.

2. I am able to load Titanium, with the launch_titanium.bat file, and see the p1999 EULA screen. I NEVER loaded the default everquest.exe desktop icon a single time.

3. I made a forum account.

4. I linked a phone #

5. I made a sever account, then another, and then another. Three total.

Not a single account will allow me to log in. Getting an error "DB error invalid password".

I'm 100% certain I know all the passwords.

So after accepting the P1999 EULA, the SOE splash screen appears. I hit "enter" to get past that, and the STATION USERNAME & PASSOWORD is where I am entering my server account credentials.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Its possible when you created your password you made a typo

Yep, my password was correct but in the client several keys was not the same as in my password. I realize this when I typed my pw in the login thing. So maybe, you should check this ^^

I had a friend log in using my credentials last night. It's working for him on his PC. So I have no idea why it's not working for me. I've even tried changing the password to really simple stuff and still nothing. I have no idea where to go from here.

If you’re using azerty keyboard maybe that could be a typo in your password. Try to replace «*A*» with «*Q*» (or z with w etc)

When you log and register for the forum page there are still 4 steps to follow. While STILL ON the forum sign up page (the link being in the "getting started" page. You will see #1 as registering to the forum once that is complete you need to go to step 2 and so forth. STEP 4 is the one where you will be entering your "station name and password" for the login window. This will allow you to enter that information and begin playing on the 1999 server.

I had a similar problem if you have a number in your password try inputing the numeric portion from the num pad, it worked for me.
