Just starting on Project1999. I have played/leveled on both the Rathe and Rallos Zek servers on live and ended up playing on Tallon Zek for awhile before I finally quit EQ.

I would rather play on a PvP server but is the population difference really a huge issue? Will I pretty much be forced to solo from 1 to 60 or are there enough players to find groups along the way?

Play something that doesn't 100% rely on groups just to be sure. There will be groups about asking in OOC but always have some kind of solo option as a backup in case.
