Hello, I'm new to P99.

I haven't played EQ in many years but I felt nostalgic and made an Iksar Monk yesterday as my first P99 character. So far I am very impressed with the community on the blue server. Some random people gave me a couple pieces of gear while I was out soloing skeletons and I started my first group at the newbie ramp in Field of Bone that lasted for long enough to gain a few levels. I look forward to spending many more hours grinding, camping items, and eventually raiding here on P99.

You'll love it here! You picked a great race / class combo.

Loot all the bone chips you can find. Seek out skeletons holding weapons / shields and sell them back at Cabilis.

Stay in Fob and move onto Kurn's. Don't kill any of the badger/mole-looking Burynai things. You can level there until 25.
