Who else stays in newb area?

Do you stay in the newbie area for awhile? How long did you stay or what lvl did you leave?
I'm lvl 17, I chill in FoB but i do venture out. I haven't XP'd anywhere other than FoB and Kurns. I was thinking it was about time to leave...even though I can probably stay long.
What about you guys? ;)

You could stay in kurns till about 25 if you want.

I was planning on it, as i level FD, while in-between working on my shackle of stone.
I just think it'd be nice to have a bunch of us loiterers get to know each other and help out.

well, i just started again after 19 years away..but i remember back then i stayed around the starting zones until i could not get any xp at all. i just enjoyed the towns i spose.

After Kurns you can step out and kite in LOIO or maybe do the giants in WW and then around 30, make a return to FoB and get a group in Kaesora. :D

I love the newb areas. I have 7 toons between 5-22. I'm thinking of starting a second account because I still want to try a cleric and don't have space left. I really enjoy the 1-20 leveling.

Oh yeah? What's your fave noob garden? Paineel is nice. It's all enclosed and attached to the Warrens.

I practically live in the GFay area at level 60... lol

I stayed in Misty on my druid Willowwind for 14 levels, minus a short, short trip to crushbone, really glad I had halfling hide in that zone, with who knows how ever many trains went by while I sat for mana lol, that lasted all of an hour, then I went back to Misty. Kinda a nice zone to level in, the roaming KoS mobs seem very few to a druid, and there are dead halfling guards with shields on them all over the place. That was how I was able to afford my first spells / made my own armors, using ruined pelts!


my iksar tend to stay in the FoB / Kurns are till the 20s, and kunark till max, love that continent :)

Crushbone and Mistmoore are some popular spots for leveling so I like the pop in and help out.

I really enjoyed the warsliks giant fort on my monk. I lived there from maybe 22 until 28 or 29.

It's not a noob area but I like to go to South Karana from about late teens to 35. It's just a cool zone I like for some reason.

There's vendors, one sells gems you can change all your coins and end up leaving in your 30s with stacks worth 2-3k.

There's also a monk trainer in zone you can learn new skills from.

Huh, I did not know that about South Karana. Then again I tended to avoid them. Maybe I will take a peak soon.

I really liked Black Burrow. Not exactly noob area, but it was great. The trains were hilarious.

Steamfont is probably my favorite place :) A gnome mage was my first character back in 99. I was young, and that zone brings back the most nostalgia for me. I miss it, just thinkin about it!

I did not know Uguk started at 8. That's cool. I have bad memories of SolB though.
Just finished up in WW at the giants, then went to OoTears Gargoyle Island for some cash. Taking a break now. Hope everyone is having fun!
