On my level 20 Druid in Splitpaw, I was able to get Storm Strength from a higher level druid. I was fighting gnolls with the Dagger of Dropping that procs Weaken (http://wiki.project1999.com/Weaken). On a proc successfully going off on me, the weaken stripped the strength buff, and applied correctly.

So this interaction seems correct to me so far.

However: after Weaken wore off, I attempted to buff Strength on myself and it did not take hold. None of my buffs showing have an interaction with Strength, so I zoned to see if it was a bug from having Weaken proc'd on me.

Upon zoning, my Storm Strength re-appeared! It wasn't displaying properly, and I didn't have the presence of mind to check if my stats were reflecting a positive, neutral, or negative benefit to my strength.

I'm attempting to duplicate this to isolate the cause. I suspect that it is probably because the weaken spell is being proc'd, rather then casted. It seems that possibly the order of effects is being incorrectly applied or calculated? That my "Storm Strength" still remains in a ghost form hopefully provides a valuable clue for the order of operations that is causing this bug.

This effect has also been reported with the necromancer Darkness Procs (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=310455) as well as Shaman Slows and Tash (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=311440).

Yes to incorrect order. Is known and not much can be done about it due to client limitations.

Same “does not take hold” message appears when clicking ring 10 after dragon proc in tov replace ring 10 then wear off. Def a bug here.
