Going to make an sk... what race is best out of these three choices

Human, Erudite, or Dark Elf?

Besides fashion quest, which race would you pick and why? I plan to twink a little and mostly solo.

I have to ask the community because I like all three races a lot and am having a tough time picking.

I don't like human or erudite, so I'd go DE. DE is also coolest in plate of the 3. I don't have any "good" reason, just my personal aesthetic.

Stat-wise ERU is the winner among the smaller races. Only question is if the other three evil races will give you remorse later.

Erudite has a pip more magic resist, which is cool. They also have access to a reclaim energy hat.

Another consideration is that with the HUM or ERU you will likely be casting Deadeye a lot. Even with the Titanium client, infravision is a huge boon.

Which do you like the look of more wearing a BE helm? Sure you could just click and swap but it's a bit more work and that is a nice cheap helm to wear. I have an ERU pally and have had the DW helm on for almost my entire leveling career. The fashionquest struggle is real :(

The problem with every race other than DE is that they have shity fashion. Since this is a time locked server, naturally looking cool is the main factor when making a character. Thus, DE SK is basically the only choice on P99 and every other race/class combination is left wanting.

Erudite in cultural is right there with a DE In plate. And far more rare.

Of the races you’ve chosen, it doesn’t matter which is best. In not choosing a large race you’ve already given up superior stats and slam (bashing with any 2habder in game). In not choosing iksar you give up ac bonus, regen and greenmist.

Of those 3 lesser races just pick which you like looking at the most.

No joke, liking the way your character looks is probably the most important aspect anyways.

Of the three races you gave my choice would be Erudite for the uniqueness- particularly if you will be moderately gearing them up from the start so that their low str and max carry weight isn’t such a constant annoyance.

If you want to know my personal favorite SK race, I have to go large race. Ogre then Troll. Slam is just too useful for your whole career through 60. Frontal stun immunity is really over exaggerated, especially if you only fight one thing at a time or fear kite a lot. But on a tanking class for those times you have multiple things at once in your face it can be a huge help still being able to cast semi-reliably to hold threat or get off that feign death while pulling.

If we're being bigoted, I'd say Human male makes the kewlest SKs, but beside that...
Nothing comes up to being a troll SK, we basically run Norrath, even Iksars wanna be us.
Make sure you are Cazic Thule, he's definatly the most SK of the gods!

SK has been by far the hardest race decision I've had of any class. You have easily the 3 best fashion races (DE, Erudite, & Human) vs the 3 best min/max races (Ogre, Troll, Iksar).

Erudite is pretty neat, especially with the class/race only gear options. Itd be a very unique choice.

Personally with the addition of the greenmist quest, and iksar not being a choice for you, you gotta save up for an MDS. Its the only trade-able option that will have you competing with iksars with greenmist. I'm not sure if you can faction for the greenmist or not, but if u can, I would choose whatever race would be easiest to faction for shadowknights of cabilis or whatever the actual faction is.

Question though, does the link of the weapon in game "Greenmist" have only Iksar labeled as the race that can wear it? Or does it have like all Shadowknight races?
