Problems connecting to server

Is the server playing up right now? When i try to connect all of a sudden i keep getting the message "Error 1017: Cannot connect to everquest server, you may need to run the update patch"

Any help would be most appreciated

Titanium client can be wonkie with modern day computers. Glad you got it figured out

One possible solution could be to play off 1 of your processor's cores (everything being i3, i5, i7 or whatever these days).

Just an aside in case anyone stumbles across this thread and needs some direction.

Other things I tried when I was looking into possible causes that you can try:
running EQ off of a ramdisk/SSD/flash drive
running EQ with winEQ or off of one core by putting "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme" without the quotes in the target line of your EQ short cut or by using the DuxaUI installer to make a shortcut for you
running EQ in compatibility mode set to xp sp2 or sp3
