Port donations question.

Perhaps a completely silly question but what is currently accepted amount to donate for a port?

Typically 1p per level. Higher levels tend to do 50-100p.

If you are new to the server and basically naked, it's ok to not donate. But tell the porter in advance if you care about your server standing.

Donation = anything, since donations are voluntary. Port fees are different...

Start by tipping 14pp then before they leave feeling bummed out you hand them 88pp!

i think 15 - 50 plat is generally what i get when i do ports. i occasionally get more, but not always. sometimes i dont get anything.

If i have to do anything extra for someone, like binding, or evacing them through a zone, or picking them up somewhere, I expect a bigger tip. Also, if they want POTG i expect a hefty tip since that is like 40% of my mana.

people who do not tip do not get rides in the future, unless i can tell they are new to the game or tell me ahead of time they dont have anything on them.

i also accept items in lieu of plat. not ideal, but acceptable.
