Salads fit in our bodies.

I just ate a 369calorie salad, most of it was a 6" pita.

Maybe it was more like a massive sandwich.

Still. I felt like really gross consuming this much food. Id literally starve or have to eat 3 tbsps of butter for a meal. Also gross.

Yesterday I ate a burger with 2 quarter pound patties (grilled), 2 battered chicken fillets (fried), bacon, nacho cheese, a heap of fries and the skimpiest salad I ever saw.

Even my wee smelled of meat.

The only purpose salad serves is delivering toppings and dressing into our mouth. Same with pasta. Jimjam has the right idea.

You don't win friends with salad

Your stomach expands like a balloon, allowing excess food to be stored.

However, the stomach was initially intended for ancient cavemen who feasted on 600 calories a day.

The stomach is preparing an "American Update" slated for Q3 of 2019.

This will allow the stomach to expand seventeen times the normal size and even allow an emergency exit through the anus if need be.

What will it fit now? Using Nathan's hot dogs as a unit of measurement...

A 24 pack. If i did the slimer and packed it down. Which is what it feels like eating half a foot long.

I think eating is just an existentially gross experience for me now. It breaks the elf pixel immersion. Being around other people eating is intensely triggering too.

I agree with the 600 calories caveman thing. Hunter gatherers are constantly foraging little bits of food including bugs etc and expending energy moving around to hunt and gather. Not arguing it's a better lifestyle. Just that it keeps people skinny, and theres almost always an energy deficit, it's hard to reach a surplus without McDonalds.

This reminds me of myself a few hundred years ago and I still can't understand how it all worked. Its like imagining myself as an empty extradimensional void with a mouth. Even though I pulled it off being well toned and muscular.

600 calories a day is starvation diet. At that point organ functioning is impacted. I highly doubt primitive humans ate so little. 1500-2000 calories is more likely.

I think they occasionally got surpluses, it wasn't a daily occurrence though. Have you ever hunted and gathered? It takes a ton of effort not to starve without agriculturally produced rations and at least some technology beyond clovis spear points.

I'm sure they where malnourished and suffered organ damage and decreased lifespans.

Anyway, it's hard to get hungry enough to actually want to eat for me now. I don't know what I broke. It takes serious mental effort to consume food.

Yah though I'd say injury, disease, exposure, infection were bigger concerns. We are fragile things.

If you aren't underweight I wouldn't worry about diet too much. I always eat whatever I want. But if you aren't getting enough calories, go for dense foods like nuts, carbs, milk/juice over water.

Im not under weight and still dropping 1-2 lb a week. It'll be worrisome externally to others I guess in about 20-30 more weeks or ~5 months maybe? If I don't level off. That'll be a year into increasingly decreasing appetite.

Well over 42 hrs because i stopped eating 2 nights ago and basically just had a 80 calorie coffee in the middle of fasting which just sucked yesterday. And i exercised this morning. Im still not hungry. Not sure what to try eating. I guess yogurt n coffee maybe... ugh... minerals. I have that kale soup still. Needs more broth...sigh.
