returning player, cant connect! help!

so, i reinstalled eq after a year or so away, and for some reason i get an error message when i try to connect to the server select. i am using an EQ titanium ISO for my install, its own file directory [not under (x86)], downloaded the most recent P99 patch files (v45, i believe) and copied them to the EQ directory, added "patchme" to the shortcut, and launching with the "launch titanium" file. when i get to login i enter my info and hit enter and a window pops up saying that the server cant be reached and i may be d/c from the internet. as you can see, im not lol. has anyone had this problem or knows a workaround? thanks.

Dunno but it seems theres some connection trouble nowadays. See server chat and bug forum

still cant connect. installed on an alternate computer and same problem. tried adding exceptions and port forwarding in my network/router settings and no change. getting frustrated. i wanna crush things with my SK dangit! plus i got rl friends playing that need my help.

If your friends are able to play, the simplest solution would be to just copy their whole EQ folder onto your Computer.

Have you tried completely disabling your firewall?

I'd almost be tempted to try a VPN or letting your computer connect to your phone's data (remember this is a dialup game) and try logging in from that just as a way of narrowing down what's causing you to not be able to connect.
