Hey guys. Just started playing. Haven’t played in over 15 years at least and completely forgot everything. I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m interested in playing a bard, mage or chanter. Anyone know of any online guides to help get me started? I feel completely lost. So spoiled by modern day mmos.

The p99 wiki that Muggens linked has a guide section and there are several guides for each class (leveling guides, class strategy guides, etc.). Spend some time looking it over and if you have specific questions, ask away. There are quite a few knowledgable folks who can give you answers.

I would check those out. I would also say for the most part if you are looking for any info I usually just hit up good and type in "P99 yadda yadda yadda" and for the most part you'll get what you are looking for.

Take a shot in the dark and make a toon and try him out for a bit!

Also if you have any Enchanter questions hit me up here or in game!

Good Luck :)

Mage is easy mode.

Enchanter and bard are both high skill cap classes.

https://wiki.project1999.com/Loraen%27s_Class_Selection_Guide is probably the best spot to refer to try to pick a single class. It doesn't address nostalgia or lore of the class as factors, but it covers the playstyles of the classes in different settings.
