A mob that has never been killed

I was wandering around the mountains at the northern edge of the West Karanas killing bandits and avoiding the hill giant and I came upon a fire beetle. I watched him (her?) scuttle around a bit and I began to wonder. Would anyone have a reason to kill a fire beetle in the Karanas?
The bandits and that hill giant do attack them, but I couldn't think of any reason a player would. So, I wondered again, perhaps there is some mob, like that fire beetle in the Karanas, somewhere that's never been killed, since P99 came online, by a player or another mob.

I'd like to think there is.

Glisse Bluesea, the most powerful and mysterious NPC enchanter in all of Norrath....you can't even target her....or see her true form....for she is so mighty. Doesn't appear on track either. And is immune to damage if you ever manage to hit her I hear (there are only rumors).

No, we just charmed him and kill spiroc lords, I think we would regularly kill 25-30 or more depending on how many chanters we had.

I didn't even think of city denizens. Can bankers be attacked? I've never tried.

I've heard/read of attacks on cities by guilds but I've never seen or participated in one. An all out assault on South Qeynos would be a bit disruptive, but interesting I think.

Heh, when playing an evil race you often "attack" bankers while using their service before running away and zoning. It is very doable no problem ;) Never killed one tho. I hear bankers have friends with strong connections sometimes. didn't want to put my troll in too much trouble.

it's funny, the level 60 Rogue ability 'Assassination' also hits for 32000 damage.

What is it about 32000?

32000 was probably the HP cap in the base game, so it is a good amount for something to do that is supposed to just one shot anything -- same reason all the Kunark dragons have 32k hp. This was almost certainly due to representing HP as a 16 bit signed integer, which allows for representing numbers between 2^15 -1 and -2^15, or 32767 max. It seems likely someone decided to cap at the nearest thousand and call it a day.
