honestly, u all bluebies should go to the blue server and stop acting like ure red players playing on a pvp server. the ones left here speak like theyre the real pvp community when the real pvp community is playing rise of zek and the other zek box for a while. theres an average of 20 players boxing these days on r99 so plz, stop it.

whats happening on eq emu with the pvp side of it is kinda sad, theres like some crazy hate going on in ALL eq community towards the pvp, like im not sure why, like u guys just dont want a thriving pvp server, like u dont understand ur pve queues and rotations if there is a thriving pvp so u just want it to fail so u can say to urselves that all the shit going on with the overcrowded pve in the blue server makes any sense.

i just hope someday r99 will be wiped or that RoZ keeps doing well and tweaking the code etc, i just hope that a real classic db will be leaked someday and that the pvp community will come together to launch a proper made server we all can enjoy with a healthy community and more than 2 guilds bashing each other.

PVP is a great addition to this game when it's used to contest raid mobs and camped spawns. When PVP is used to harass players killing orc centurions, it destroys the server. The latter is what lead to this server being run into the ground. Wtf RoZ is going up till gates with tweaks along the way to make content available without having 100 man raids... then will eventually re-release the server at the end...... already the GM’s toned down velious from what I can tell halls of testing will be 6mannable easily and most high end raid mobs will be 2-3 groupable tops..

eqemu pvp community is just small, velious, unlike kunark, makes pvp impossible for those who dont raid, gear gap is just too extreme and it kills pvp, kills it for the casual people and the alt-quest ppl who just likes to pvp. This is doable in kunark era, not in velious.

ROZ was fun for like 20 seconds. Pop back to a solid 40 count plus boxing. Hippo and Dragon need ez servers with boxing to have any shot of being formidable. I literally had a MS and a 50 caster in 3 weeks of super casual play. Would of been level 16 doing in nk with the time I spent in roz on classic red99.

Just to double post, these guys want super fast leveling servers still play 10 hours a day. If time was an excuse I’d get it but you all have all the free time in the world and still want exp handed to you. The grind, the blocking of exp, the constant pvp on the few zones available is to level is what makes the game hard.

I think my first death was at level 46 when I got nuked with ice comet. Red99 is the toughest PvE for sure though. You have to pretend to not box and the population is shit. It takes a real genius to navigate it.

I agree shit 1-50 pvp is fun but that doesn't exist on any server. It lasted a couple months on red99 6 years ago. It is time to let it go. I played on red99 and was never dunked. They don't care and people that actually played know how it really was.

Lvl 50 manastone, bought all my spells, research was at zero and it was a casual 3 weeks. With like one or two days on the 5+ hours. Got a couple of few sick power level trains. Had like no pvp and when I did it was like fighting and npc. Got to one mass pvp fight and saw how quickly it became turd politic quest again.

Basically a fun server for 2 weeks then it’s back to square uno. These guys come on here another servers board to tell you how great roz is. Meanwhile pop has plummeted and they talking 10v10v10v10 lol.

Split up the 40’s. Keep playing low pop custom crap eq servers well into your 30’s boys.

I'm not a fan of Velious so I hope it goes through Velious quick to the next expansion. As far as server rules go I enjoy the item loot over any differences I am missing with Red99.

Yeah I don't know why people on here (well 2 people) want RoZ to do poorly. It is the only shot eq pvp servers have to keep some sort of community interested. If Red99 ever did make a new server RoZ being successful would help the next Red99 box.

Not that this will ever happen but RoZ getting over 100-120 chars logged in every night is still a good thing. It is declining though, it was around 150 per night not too long ago.
