I've made 4 attempts to give Vin Moltor the Pie and 3 bottles of Kalish and gotten nothing from him. I tried both not hailing him and hailing him. He only says: ' Heh?? .. BURRP! .. Leave me be will ya. ' I'd rather not kill him and get the faction hit. Is there something I need to say to him or does my present faction which is ' Indifferent ' matter?

Yeah, I made one final attempt with pie & beer without success, so I killed him and got the paw. Faction hit was negligible.

I did this quest a few weeks back out of nostalgia and the hand in worked... Do you have proper faction? Im not sure what is needed. Hey Tani... miss you.

I felled to take note of the very first sentence in the walk-through ...

" Before you start Step 1, make sure you have 1 empty space for a container. "

The fact that the paw is a container did not seep into my consciousness.
